Alaron Products Limited is New Zealand’s leading GMP Certified manufacturer and packer of complementary medicines and natural health products. Based in Nelson in New Zealand, Alaron is looking to appoint the following key senior management role to support significant growth in the business:

Head of Quality

• Leadership/Management focus
• Dynamic Manufacturing Environment

Quality Assurance (QA) is pivotal to the success of Alaron’s business model. As a result, are looking to strengthen our QA function to enable a focus on technical delivery, strong leadership, and management. The Head of Quality is critical in leading and managing the QA function including overseeing and being actively involved in effective QA delivery on a day-to-day basis.  

The successful person will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Demonstrated QA experience at a management level, preferably within a GMP environment
• Ability to contribute at a strategic level and within the senior management team
• Provide effective leadership to the QA team, driving a culture of support, development, and achievement
• Demand continued improvement in quality assurance performance and adapt business systems and processes to achieve this 
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and build on working relationships effectively
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written at all levels
• Demonstrate the ability to plan and prepare for outcomes based on priority 
• Provide clear direction to the Quality Assurance team that is consistent and values-driven.
